The Pittsburgh Penguins will battle the Washington Capitals on February 25 at the Verizon Center in Washington, District of Columbia.

The game will start at 8:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Penguins (34-17-9) are trying to extend their current winning streak to three games when they face their Metropolitan division adversary the Capitals on Wednesday night.

"It doesn't matter what team we play," said Pittsburgh center Evgeni Malkin to reporters.

"If we play right, we play our game, we can beat any team in the league. We showed the last two games how we can play."

Pittsburgh previously defeated the Florida Panthers by the final score of 5-1, where Penguin players Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist each had two goals and an assist in the victory on February 22.

Meanwhile, the Capitals (33-18-10) are trying to stop a possible two game losing streak when they look to defend their home ice versus the Penguins at the Verizon Center.

"The (last two games) you're starting to see the true Pittsburgh Penguin team. I think there's a little bit of a rivalry that's starting to develop again. I think both teams will be ramped up," said Washington head coach Barry Trotz to reporters.

"We've got 21 games left in about the same amount of time you play the postseason. It's a good way to get prepared for the playoffs."

The Capitals were defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers by the final score 3-2, where Washington players Tom Wilson and Joel Ward each scored a goal in a losing effort on February 22.
