The Pittsburgh Penguins will face the Washington Capitals on February 17 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Penguins (32-15-8) are trying to avoid a possible two game losing streak when they host the Senators on Tuesday night.

The Penguins were defeated by the Chicago Blackhawks by a final score of 2-1 in a shootout, where Pittsburgh center Nick Spaling score the lone goal for his team on February 15.

"That's two games we've played against this team and we've played well defensively," said Pittsburgh head coach Mike Johnston to reporters.

"We had our scoring chances and we didn't convert. I thought our power play looked good, too."

Meanwhile, the Capitals (30-17-10) are looking to stretch their current winning streak to two games when they battle the Penguins at the CONSOL Energy Center.

The Capitals defeated the Anaheim Ducks by a final score of 5-3 on February 15, after Washington left winger Alex Ovechkin scored two goals and two assists in the victory.

"We've got so many good players on the team, but of course, Ovi's one of the best," said Washington left winger Andre Burakovsky to reporters.

"He's been really good this season, and his shot is incredible. So it's really important for us that Ovi's playing good."
