Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning Live Stream Free: Watch NHL 2014 Hockey Online
The Tampa Bay Lightning (24-11-4) will clash with the Pittsburgh Penguins (23-9-5) on January 2 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The game will start at 7:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
The Lightning will attempt to stretch their current winning streak to five games when they invade the 'Steel City' on Friday night.
Tampa Bay recently crushed their Atlantic division rivals Buffalo Sabres by a final score of 5-2, where Lightning right winger Nikita Kucherov had two goals and an assist in the victory on Wednesday night.
"Since that line's been put together, they've done some pretty magical things. When you start getting that chemistry going, hopefully the wins start to mount a little bit," said Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper to reporters.
"It was just a weird game. It was like nobody wanted to take control of the game, and then that line did, and we came out on top."
Now the Penguins are looking to prolong their winning streak to two games when they host the equally formidable Lightning squad at the CONSOL Energy Center.
Pittsburgh previously defeated the Carolina Hurricanes by the final score 2-1, where Penguins' Brandon Sutter scored the game winning goal in the final period on New Year's Eve.
"It's always fun playing against your old team, especially when you can beat them," said Sutter to reporters.
"It's a good way to end the year."
Penguins head coach Mike Johnston also applauded his goalie Marc-Andre Fleury's impressive 24-save performance on Wednesday night.
"We had three turnovers and those were the big saves that [Fleury] made," said Johnston to reporters.
"When we had a breakdown, which we had three big ones, [Fleury] was there for all of those."
The game begins at 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday and can be viewed on TV on the NHL Center ICE network or online through live stream by clicking here.
