The Pittsburgh Penguins will battle the Detroit Red Wings on February 11 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Penguins (30-15-8) are trying to a possible two game losing streak when they host the Red Wings on Tuesday night.

The Penguins were crushed by the Canucks by the final score 5-0, where the Pittsburgh offense was shutout by Vancouver goalie Ryan Miller when he made 31 impressive saves on February 7.

"Just a poor start," said Pittsburgh center Sidney Crosby to reporters.

"I think you can tell the first 10 minutes, they were desperate, they came out hard and you fall back two goals and (you're) probably guilty of taking some chances when you fall behind that early and it was kind of uphill from there."

Now the Red Wings (31-12-9) are looking to extend their winning streak to four games when they clash with the Penguins at the CONSOL Energy Center.

"You've got to give the kid credit," said Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock to reporters in reference to his backup goaltender Petr Mrazek.

"Maybe he doesn't want to be the third goalie."

The Red Wings previously defeated the Arizona Coyotes by the final score 5-4, where Detroit left winger Tomas Tatar had a goal and two assists on February 7.

"I felt great," said Mrazek to reporters, "I think we played a really good game."
