The Pittsburgh Panthers will battle with the Houston Cougars on January 2 at the Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.

The game starts at 12:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Panthers (6-6) are trying to stretch their current winning streak to three games when they meet the Cougars in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.

"Joe (Randolph) is highly respected by our players and staff," said Pittsburgh Chancellor Patrick Gallagher to reporters in reference to the new interim head coach.

"He has been an important figure in our program's growth and will provide our student-athletes the support and leadership they need as they prepare for their final game."

Previously, the Panthers defeated their ACC divisional foes Miami Hurricanes by a final score of 35-23, after Pittsburgh QB Chad Voytik went 8-12 for 134 yards with a touchdown pass on November 29.

Meanwhile, the Cougars (7-5) are looking to avoid a possible two game losing streak when they encounter the Panthers on Friday afternoon.

"If you're good at your job," said Houston interim head coach David Gibbs to reporters.

"You realize that if you go out there and coach your butt off and your kids play hard and play good, you have a better chance of getting a job than if your kids go out there and lay down and get beat up on national television."

The Cougars recently lost to their AAC rivals Cincinnati Bearcats by a final score of 38-31, after QB Greg Ward Jr. went 27-45 for 360 yards, which was highlighted by two touchdown and an interception on December 6.
