Church bells are set to ring for Fat Amy's wedding in Elizabeth Banks' upcoming musical comedy film "Pitch Perfect 3," according to recent rumors.

According to Christian Post, Fat Amy is going to walk down the aisle and tie the knot with Bumper. As per the publication, the aforementioned rumor is one of the greatest highlights of the film, which is assumed to lead to the film's success. In addition, fans witnessing Fat Amy find her one true love is expected to be one of the thing fans will look forward to.

Aside from Fat Amy's wedding, "Pitch Perfect 3" is also rumored to feature her backstory. According to Vine Report, fans are going to explore the character deeper by learning what she used to be prior to joining the Barden Bellas. As per the report, even Rebel Wilson, who plays Fat Amy in the film, wanted to discover more about her character.

While there is no clarity with regard to whether Fat Amy and Bumper will stick together after college, it is desired by fans to see them again in "Pitch Perfect 3." It is uncertain at this point, but fans may see the couple along with The Troublemakers and Barden Bellas walk the aisle.

"Pitch Perfect 3" serves as the third film installment of the "Pitch Perfect" film franchise. Aside from Wilson, "Pitch Perfect 3" also stars Banks, Hailee Steinfeld, Anna Kendrick, and Brittany Snow, among others. With Banks at the helm of the film, "New Girl" and "Pitch Perfect 2" writer Kay Cannon is in charge of writing the screenplay. Paul Brooks and Scott Niemeyer are also co-producing the film with Banks.

"Pitch Perfect 3" is set to premiere in Aug. 4, 2017.
