'Pitch Perfect 3' News: Adam Levine Will Not Join Cast Of Next Installment?
One fan-favorite character in "Pitch Perfect" may no longer reprise his role in the upcoming sequel.
Adam Devine revealed that he is not sure if he is going to be in "Pitch Perfect 3" since he was not asked to sign on for the film.
In his interview with the LA Times, the actor revealed that his future in the "Pitch Perfect" series is still uncertain.
Asked why the 3rd installment was delayed, the actor said, "I don't know. I honestly don't. I'm not super close. I think it was, like, script stuff. They haven't fully locked in the story. I don't even know if I'm gonna be in it or not. They did not have me sign on."
While his status in the upcoming film is still up in the air, he said he believes Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow are going to return.
"Is Rebel going to be in it?" asked the LA Times.
"Yeah, probably. I think Rebel and Anna and Brittany are the three that are locked in to do it, and the rest, who knows? I love doing those movies. It's so much fun. Schedule permitting, I would love to do it. I try to stay out of the politics of everything. What sucks kind of is, like, I'm booked through next summer. It burns me out because I would love to do it, but I have all these other things going," said Devine.
The actor has been busy promoting "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," his new movie with Zac Efron. He is also set to star in "When We First Met."
