The movie "Pitch Perfect 2' is all set to release on May 15, 2015 worldwide, by Columbia Pictures.

The Barden Bellas from the first edition are reprising their roles in the upcoming movie. The lead character, however, will be Elizabeth Banks, who also produced the first movie. This movie is co-produced by Bank, Paul Brooks and Max Handelman, and has been written by Kay Cannon.

On the cast of the movie are Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee, Hailee Steinfeld with John Michael Higgins, Katey Sagal and Banks.

Stepping into the plot, the movie will feature the character of Brittany Snow, Chloe Beale in college. In an interview with Elle, Snow spoke her character and said that Chloe is "a super senior' who was supposed to graduate three years ago. However, in order to stay with the Barden University Bellas, she intentionally failed three times in a row.

However, writer Cannon is rather reluctant to talk about the script. In an interview with Forbes, she said that she didn't have a whole lot of time to work on the script for "Pitch Perfect 2' and writing it was much more difficult the second time because she was taking care of a newborn.

The writer even admitted to passing on the script because she was worried that it would never be able to live up to the first movie.

According to Fashionnstyle, Kay revealed that the movie is sure to have some surprises, such as the new additions to the Barden Bellas.
