'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Movie Release Date: 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' to Premiere July 2017

Actor Johnny Depp's popular swashbuckling crew returns once again for the fifth installment to the Disney movie franchise, 'Pirates of the Caribbean', with a film entitled, 'Dead Men Tell No Tales'.

Set to be released on July 7th 2017, the movie is predetermined to be one of the most anticipated titles of the year. On that note, fans will be glad to see their beloved main characters returning to their roles along with some new promising appearances.

"Naturally, Johnny Depp is coming back to once again reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, and he will be joined by Geoffrey Rush's Captain Barbossa," writes Cinema Blend.

Adding, "Javier Bardem will be playing the main villain this time around, and in the spirit of Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley's roles in the first three movies, there will be another pair of lovers at the center of the latest sequel."

However, actor Orlando Bloom has not been confirmed to be back in this adaptation yet. In an interview with IGN, Bloom said:

"There have certainly been some discussions about it and I'm open to it. That whole experience working with Johnny [Depp] and (director) Gore (Verbinski) was really amazing for me. I had a great time working with Johnny, one of the reasons I jumped at the opportunity was because Johnny was involved."

Production hasn't yet begun, but is believed to get underway sometime at the start of 2015. Filming will be taking place at Gold Coast Hinterland in Queensland, Australia, where the set is being currently built.

"It's hard to say exactly what is being built here, outside of the fact that it looks like a full town from the 18th century, but it definitely is an encouraging sign for a movie that has had its fair share of delays," Cinema Blend stated.

Not too much has been revealed about the plot either, the movie was reported being pushed forward two years due to script discrepancies.

On a side note, Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg will be directing this upcoming blockbuster installment.
