Philadelphia Eagles NFL 2015 News, Rumors: Tim Tebow Returns to Play Professional Football

According to Sport Illustrated, Tim Tebow is returning to the NFL. The quarterback, at 27 years of age, will sign to become a part of the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday as a part of the team's aggressive rebuilding strategy.

This is good news for Tebow, as his last game in the NFL was in 2012 with the New York Jets.

Tebow, despite the fact that he has not been in the NFL for two years, never gave up the dream of returning to play professional football.

On the day before his Eagles tryout, he talked about his return to the NFL in an interview with People magazine.

He said that he had a lot of exciting opportunities in his future and the football is really important to him. "I wouldn't work as hard as I do if I didn't care so much about it," said Tebow.

He stated that he trains about six days each week and he keeps the level of his training at the same intensity that it was when he used to play football. While he was away from the NFL, Tebow focused on his charity work with The Tim Tebow Foundation.

The foundation provides for many things, such as Timmy's Playrooms in children's hospitals, the W15H program, which grants wishes to terminally ill teenagers, and a five story hospital build in the Philippines.

The foundation also includes the Orphan Care program, which help to support orphans and gives grants to families adopting special needs children.

Last month, the foundation introduced a new initiative, Night to Shine, which is a worldwide prom night for children with special needs.
