'PES 2017' Data Pack 2 Release Date: New Content Update Going To Launch Nov. 24

Data Pack 2 for PES 2017 will be released Nov. 24, as confirmed by product distributor Konami.

The update is available for both next and current generation systems. However, there is a catch for those who do not have PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. According to reports, the three new stadiums and new crowd chants, which are the newest and biggest additions from the data pack, will not be available on PlayStation 3, Steam or Xbox 360.

Data Pack 2 includes classic Liverpool FC kit and more than 100 new faces and boots for players. It also includes world-renowned stadiums for Palmeras, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool FC.

Following up Data Pack 1 which featured a third Liverpool FC kit and more than 30 new faces and twelve new boots last October, the new data pack update makes available the classic Liverpool FC kit to players on PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam.

While Data Pack 2 has new offers, it also has a missing feature--PS4 Pro support. There were previous speculations that Konami would include the missing feature inside this Data Pack, but it was eventually revealed that it was not included in the update. According to Konami, they are now shooting for December for PS4 Pro support.

"With regard to the PES support for PS4 Pro that we have announced its launch targeted at the end of November, we apologize that we would not be able to start the support at the announced date for various reasons. The new launch date is planned in mid-December," said Konami.
