'Persona 5' Trailer, Release Date & News: Available For PS3, PS4
According to Venture Capital Post, "Persona 5" will be released in the summer of 2016 in Japan and North America. The game will be available for PS3 and PS4 consoles.
Persona 5's player agency is way different compared to the previous games. The unique thing about the first part of the game is that the protagonist and his friends don't start their journey from a place where their personas are already provided for. Instead, they are exposed to a world where they feel isolated from. They can break through their personas in a place called the "Palace," to liberate themselves from a queer society that has silenced them.
"We think that sense of agency is one of the charms of this title," game director Katsura Hashino said according to Design and Trend. "It's one of the aspects we're most excited to bring to you," he continued.
Katsura also said that the choices of the character would eventually attract the attention of an "even greater enemy."
Also according to Design and Trend, the gamers can explore the real world and the world called "Phantom Thief." It would be important for them to interact with their party of pals. These friends can summon different "personas" that reflects their inner desires. The pals are Ryuji, Yusuke, Ann and Morgana.
Morgana isn't just a cute cat the she appears to be. She emerges as a teacher-like figure that guides the teens in their journey. On the other hand, Morgana is unsure of his or her own identity. They will have to use the protagonist's adventures and abilities as an advantage to search for Morgana's true identity.
After years of waiting, we now have a definite time next year on the release of the game. 2016 indeed gives us a lot to be excited about.
