'Persona 5' Release Date, News Update: Game Going To Be Launched This Summer In Japan?
To all the people who are running out of patience in waiting for the "Persona 5" release, the wait may finally be over. The game's official website has launched a count down timer. Many believed that it must be related to the release of the game.
The count down timer is calculated to end on May the fifth at 12:30 PM GMT. According to N4BB, Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka recently promised that the game would be released on the same day as the end time of the timer. Atlus, however, has not released any statement about this. There is still no confirmation on the release date as of today.
There was a recent hacking that happened on the game's website. Hackers made a fraud announcement; saying that the game would be released on July 8, 2016. The post was retracted by the admin, including with it an explanation that the site was "compromised" when that post was made.
Also, according to Yibada, Atlus PR Manager John Hardin recently confirmed that as of now, there won't be any PC version of the game. It was already mention before that a PC version of the game would be "highly improbable" because there is no good business with it in the Japanese videogame market.
"Persona 5" is expected to launch in Japan during their summer time. It might be some time in July when the summer vacation for students has started. The game will also be available in the United States. The game will be available for the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
