'Persona 5' Release Date News: Title Set For Sept. 15 Release In Japan, February 2017 Worldwide?
New details on the release date of Altus' "Persona 5" have been revealed. Also, it is revealed that a fan is learning Japanese to play the game when it comes out.
Altus' forthcoming title is set to be released in Japan on Sept. 15, N4BB has learned. As per the publication, global release will follow on Feb. 14, 2017. The distance between the two release dates is assumed to be disappointing to many fans who are waiting for the game; however, it is sealed that the title is set to arrive soon, to be the least.
In line with the timing of the "Persona 5" release date, Altus public relations manager John Hardin shared his thoughts. In a statement, as cited by PlayStation blog, Hardin said that they were making sure that every bit was in place, as "Persona" had exponentially grown as a franchise and considering that it was their first numbered sequel since 2008, Altus was taking its time to ensure that it was the best possible experience.
In other news, a "Persona" fan is reportedly set to learn Japanese to play the game, Tech Raptor reported. As per the publication, the player, named Weaboo Jones, is bound to learn the language within three months, since he is aiming to play the game after its Japanese release.
In a statement, Jones said that he could just stop the Internet entirely for the five moths following the Japanese release, but in his mind, that was even more ridiculous than trying to learn the Japanese language in three months.
Set to be playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, "Persona 5" is set to hit the gaming market on Sept.15 in Japan and in February 2017 worldwide.
