'Persona 5' Release Date, News Rumors, Update: Game Set To Arrive In Japan On Sept. 15; No International Schedule Yet?
The good news is that "Persona 5" will be released on Sept. 15, but the bad news for fans is that there's no update yet on the global schedule following the launch in Japan.
The game's producer, Katsura Hashino, shared the storyline of "Persona 5" which will revolve around a group of high school students "that are being 'chased' by unexpected occurences due to the justice they believe in."
Meanwhile, there's no word yet on the international release date for "Persona 5" after it launches in Japan on Sept. 15, N4BB reported.
"And because the release is in the latter part of the year, Persona 5's international release is not likely to happen this year," it said.
The main characters of "Persona 5," according to the trailer as shared by the news article from Gematsu, revealed a
"mysterious Phantom character," Anzu Takamaki, Ryuuji Sakamoto and "a cat named Morgana."
"The way we see a person's character, it can spread to others for good or for bad, and it can even change the way another would think or behave... and that's the potential power we see in it," Hashino said. "We may feel some sort of suffocation in this world today, but as long as the world is comprised of relationships among humans, it is a person's character, or a group's character, that will provide the 'power' to destroy that 'feeling of entrapment.'"
Watch out for more news updates on "Persona 5" since there should be more information that will come out of the woodworks as the September Japan release date draws near.
