'Persona 5' News: Stylish New Trailer Released For Upcoming RPG [VIDEO]
Atlus has finally released their full length trailer for the fifth installment in their 'Shin Megami Tensei: Persona' RPG franchise, also known as, 'Persona'.
The trailer has not only arrived, but arrived in style with the game's signature trendy and stylish animation and uniqueness.
It was also rather thorough, giving fans not only glimpses of the anime cutscenes, but the menu, battle mechanics, quite possibly the whole cast of characters, and even clips of the main character in class.
Despite its extravagant presentation, it is still evident the game will follow their regular plot trend of handpicking a bunch of Japanese high-schoolers and imbuing them with the ability to summon "personas", beast-like creatures with extraordinary capabilities.
It was previously announced that the game would follow a "fight against the societal system" theme and resisting conformity. The trailer also hinted at a new stealth aspect that the game will be introducing as one of the main characters seemed to be dressed as a "phantom thief".
"Directed by series veteran, Katsura Hashino he's already been quite open about how Lupin III inspired the new gentleman robber angle. So it's already clear that stealth will play a key part in the game, especially in the reveal of what appear to be high speed cover mechanics," writes Forbes.
It hasn't been confirmed if this game will tie in with previous games as past titles have, but there will be a whole new set of characters that have not been introduced, and it will take place in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The game has been reportedly set to release this year for the PS3 and PS4, and rumored to possibly appear on the PS Vita.
