'Persona 5' News: Altus’ Title Coming To China, Europe; Set For September Release Date

Atlus' "Persona 5" is set to launch soon and it has been revealed that the forthcoming title is also set to hit China and Europe.

"Persona 5" is set to hit the market in Japan on Sept. 15, N4BB reports. According to the website, the title is set to land in China, along with the game's release in Japan. It is also revealed that the Asian version of the forthcoming title is set to have Chinese subtitles, which is also bound to come out on the same date as the Japanese version.

In 2015, China reportedly announced that it would be lifting its ban on gaming consoles; thus it is assumed that "Persona 5" would be released for the PS4.

In other news, "Persona 5" is set to come out in Europe with Deep Silver as its publisher, according to Eurogamer. In a statement, as cited by the publication, Atlus USA CEO and Sega America publishing vice president Naoto Hiraoka said that he was truly delighted that they would be able to release their titles in the European regions in entering the partnership with Deep Silver.

According to Hiraoka, Deep Silver had a strong presence in European and PAL retails, adding that they had a strong passion for being able to deliver physical games to their fans in such territories, which they held in high regard.

As per the publication, "Saints Row," "Homefront," and "Dead Island" publisher signed a European publishing contract not only for the upcoming game, but also for several Atlus and Sega titles, which include Atlus' "Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse" and the digital and physical versions of Sega's "7th Dragon 3 Code: VFD."
