'Pass The Light' is a faith based film set to inspire this generation of Christians to spread the love of God by loving people where they are and not judging them with hate.

'Pass The Light' is opening in select Carmike Cinemas nationwide on Feb. 6. The film follows a 17-year-old H.S student name Steve Bellafiore who runs for Congress because he is disturbed by the message of hatred and intolerance espoused by the popular candidate Franklin Baumann (Jon Gries). Steve and his friends start a campaign called Pass The Light in order to unite the community and spread the message of tolerance and love.

Cast includes young actors Cameron Palatas as Steve Bellafiore, Alexandria Deberry as Jackie Burns, Dalpre Grayer as Willy and more. "I saw the faith I loved being used to hurt the people I cared about" "We can not choose hate. We have to choose each other."

After a 2013 multi-city screening tour the message of the film really seems to resonate with audiences across the country who watched the screening. Celebrities and media have also weighed in, see their comments below:

"'Pass The Light' is one of those rare films that inspires and challenges its audience to be better. This is one of those amazing films that can actually affect change. I loved this beautiful film because it wears its heart on its sleeve. It is so beautiful and inspiring," said 5-time Tony Award nominee and current star of "Cabaret" Danny Burstein.

"'Pass The Light' gives me hope that all of us, from every religion and walk of life, can come together with kindness, positivity and acceptance so we can tackle the bigger issues our entire community faces," Matthew Morrison, star of the Emmy and Golden Globe and GLAAD award-winning FOX series "Glee."

The Dove Foundation labeled the movie with the Ages 12+ Faith Friendly Seal of Approval. Noting in their review, "this inspiring movie about loving people where they are carries a "love" rather than "hate" attitude that lifts the film to great heights. It also makes crystal clear that young people can make a difference."
