Paris St Germain vs Barcelona Preview, Live Stream Link: How to Watch Football Match Online
With the daunting task of needing to score at least three goals at Nou Camp, few view Paris St Germain as having a real chance to move on after a 3-1 loss in Paris in the first leg of their matchup against Barcelona.
But PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi believes they have to play with confidence in spite of the challenging task. "We have to go to Camp Nou without complex and try everything to achieve the feat," he told L'Equipe.
PSG will be bolstered by the return from suspension of midfielder Marco Verratti and former Barca striker Zlatan Imbrahimovic, and that has kept Barcelona coach Luis Enrique wary of their foes.
"The result of the first leg is good, but it is not definitive. We need to play really well to get through the tie," he said. "The idea is the same as before the first leg: to have the ball. That's brings with it putting pressure on our rivals," Enrique added also admitting that the return of Ibra and Veratti will automatically increase the quality of PSG.
Said PSG coach Laurent Blanc, "We have nothing to lose and Ibra likes that kind of match. He has been training everyday and even if he's not playing, he's in great form at the moment. He is well rested, which is good for future games. We don't only have the objective of the Champions League, but other objectives too," conceding that his squad's chances of pulling off an upset are slim, while remaining confident that they will be able to generate opportunities.
Barca midfielder Andres Iniesta is expected to be good for the Tuesday match despite being carried off on a stretcher during last week's first leg. He is expected to be with last week's two-time goal scorer Luis Suarez, along with Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The second of leg of PSG-Barcelona is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 at 7:45 p.m. BST, you catch the action via live streaming here.
