Those who already own Pandora One on their mobile can expect a shift to Pandora Plus with the recent news announcement from the company.

The expected changes under the new service include an offline mode, where users can still listen to music even when not connected to the Internet. The new service will be offered at $5 per month, but those who are getting the free version can expect some changes, as well.

According to The Verge, the free version allows users to replay or skip songs, but only if they enable the video ad feature. As users know, you can't pick and choose from the songs that the Pandora One service plays. The bad news is this did not change with the Pandora Plus.

To date, Pandora One has nearly 80 million users as of June this year.

The Pandora Plus news boosted the company's shares by 1.5 percent during the pre-market trading, said CNBC. That means the service is gaining despite the competition in the online streaming market with Spotify, Apple and Amazon.

While Pandora Plus is priced at $4.99, the Spotify and Apple Music are being offered at $9.99 for monthly subscription.

CEO Time Westergren, meanwhile, shared the news about the new $10 monthly subscription service for Pandora Plus.

The statement from the CEO said in a statement, "Whether a listener wants to take advantage of our enhanced ad-supported experience, our ground-breaking subscription radio service, or our fully interactive on-demand option coming later this year, we have a solution tailored for you at a price point you can afford,"
