Panasonic CES 2015 News: New 4K Ultra HD Products Featured at Expo

Panasonic is pulling out all the stops with a lineup of 4K Ultra HD products that they are planning on showcasing at the upcoming 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9.

The 4K Ultra HD resolution is now considered topnotch in television standards, delivering four times the resolution at high-definition technology. It is a new trend Panasonic is looking to cash in on with its new line of HD TVs, according to their announcement at the CES press conference last Monday.

Panasonic is planning to introduce to the public four new lines of televisions, starting with the midrange models CX600 and CX650, to the CX800 and then the CX850, a high-end, Internet-connected smart TV that comes with voice command technology.

Across the four lines, Panasonic will introduce nine models ranging from 50 inches to 65 inches. No pricing has been set yet, but Panasonic has provided information on each line and model.

The CX850 line comes with the Studio Master Drive for gradations, Local Dimming Pro to enhance the contrast ratio, Image Motion 240 Hz for its resolution and the Super Bright Panel for the light output

The CX800 line comes with the Local Dimming, Image Motion 240 Hz and Super Bright Panel, but makes do with a Black Gradation Drive instead of the Studio Master. The TVs are also 3D and come in 55, 60 and 65 inches.

Moving along, the CX650 and CX600 lines come with the Super Bright Panel. The CX650 also has the Image Motion 240 Hz and the Firefox OS, and comes in three sizes at 55, 60 and 65 inches; while the CX600 has the Image Motion 120 Hz and comes in at only one size - 50 inches.

Not only that, but Panasonic also announced at the CES press conference that they have more products in store, such as Lumix compact cameras that are waterproof and shockproof, Blue-ray players, headphones, sound systems, and more, according to CNET.
