P. Diddy & Drake Fight News, Rumors: Alleged Altercation Between Rappers Outside Miami Club
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Drake were allegedly involved in a fight outside of a Miami club around four in the morning on Monday, all over a single song.
Sources told TMZ that the song which caused the fight was "0 to 100 / The Catch Up" which was just nominated for two Grammys- Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
The sources added that the song was given to both Diddy and Drake eight months ago to record by producer Boi-1da. Drake reportedly grew frustrated because it took so long for Diddy to decide on recording the song, so he recorded the song on his own.
The song is now doing well in the charts, staying on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for 20 weeks, peaking at No. 8, and has grown to become a worldwide phenomenon, which does not sit well with Diddy.
Diddy allegedly confronted the 28-year-old rapper at Fontainebleau Hotel's Liv club because it was the first time the two had seen each other since the song was released.
Sources close to Diddy said he confronted Drake, and was blown off, and that's when Diddy said, "You'll never disrespect me again," and then punched him.
Drake was reportedly brought to the ER after the altercation because during the fight he hit his shoulder and exacerbated an old injury.
Meanwhile, Drake took to his Instagram account to express his feeling about the matter.
On Wednesday morning, December 10, he posted a photo of himself on the social media site where he was wearing a white robe and it appears like he could be wearing a sling on one of his arms, with the caption saying, "They're either talking sh- about you or stealing the sh- you're talking...either way the name been poppin."
