'Overwatch' Update News: Patch Features Bug Fixes, Public Test Region Is Available Now
Along with Blizzard Entertainment's "Overwatch" Public Test Region, details on the game's update have surfaced.
According to Game Spot, "Overwatch's" general updates cover static cameras that support spectator mode, along with team names that can be edited in custom games. The game update also increased the volume of Hanzo's Dragonstrike voice while wearing the Okami/Lone Wolf Skin while the heroes it by Ana's Nano Boost gets a new voice line that alerts other players in the game.
The general updates also feature boosted frequency of Reinhardt's "barrier failing" voice line while Custom Games can be paused.
"Overwatch's" update also aims to fix bugs in the game. As per reports, the general fixes include the bug that prevents changed key bindings from saving following game launch, the bug that prevents players from binding Take Screenshot to other keys, and the bug that involves the loss of red outline in enemy players that are knocked down.
The new patch is now available for testing on the Public Test Region, according to the game's website. As per the publication, the test is only available on Windows PC. Also, accounts from all regions are eligible to participate, but it is set to be hosted in the United States. This means players who play the test from a region not within the U.S. Will experience lower performance and boosted latency.
"Overwatch" was initially released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 24.
