'Overwatch' PTR Patch Notes October, News Update: Game Features Hero Changes Except For Symmetra

Blizzard Entertainment's "Overwatch" PTR patch is set to be different, as it makes some changes to the game heroes but Symmetra, as per reports.

In the game's official website, "Overwatch" Principal Designer Geoff Goodman explained how the PTR patch is set to change the game scene, with an emphasis on the heroes. In a statement, he said that this time around, the PTR was likely to be around a bit longer that before; hence, they were trying the opportunity to try out some "significant hero changes, along with more vital iterations throughout the PTR cycle.

"The PTR patch changes you guys see are unlikely to make it through PTR unchanged, unlike previous PTR cycles," Goodman wrote.

In this regard, the principal designer also gave a note about Symmetra. According to Goodman, the patch was not having any changes for the character for the aforementioned patch. This is because Symmetra's changes have become more considerable that they needed more time to complete it. As per the principal designer, the character was feeling "pretty great internally" that they could unveil her soon.

Recently, Blizzard had a Halloween event that saw items in loot boxes, as per Game Spot. According to the publication, it also introduced the first cooperative mode in the game. But then, players can only play the game, assuming the role of one of the four characters. They may choose among Ana, Hanzo, McCree, and Soldier 76, among others.

Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, "Overwatch" was initially released for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One on May 24.
