'Outlander' Season 3 Spoilers: Is Claire and Jamie's Reunion Possible?

Despite rumors claiming that Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser will be kept apart next season, recent reports reveal that the new season will see the two back in each other's arms.

Spoilers for the upcoming season suggest that Claire and Jamie will do everything they can to be together again in "Outlander" season 3, as Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were recently spotted together on the filming set of the series.

Recent claims were somewhat proven true by "Outlander" season 3 production designer John Garry Steele himself, who hinted that the reunion of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe is indeed happening in the upcoming season. Avid readers of the Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager," the book on which the series is based, could also attest to it.

On one of his social media accounts, John Garry Steele recently uploaded a photo of the print shop under construction. "A wee sneak peek into season 3," reads the caption. In the book, Claire and Jamie reunite after 20 years in a print shop.

Recently, however, executive producer Rom Moore said that the show is taking a different route.

"Well, we decided not to do it," he said. "Jamie's going to be a wandering minstrel. He'll be out on the road, he's got a whole bunch of women with him. We've just decided to go in another direction. You're going to love it!" he teased.

Reports also suggest that the series is currently conducting a search for actors to play an older Lord John Grey and a young Jenny Fraser.

Starz has yet to announce the premiere date of the upcoming season.
