"Outlander" season 3 is coming in a few months. When the series returns, fans will get to see the much awaited reunion of Claire and Jamie.

According to actress Catriona Balfe, who portrays Claire, fans of the series should brace themselves for some hot scenes. This is because the reunion between Jamie and her character will feature a lot of intimate scenes. She also revealed that the other couples in the series will have sex scenes as well.

Season 3 will pick up at the Battle of Culloden, which is where season 2 left off. In the season 2 finale, Claire was in the present time with Frank. However, she time traveled through the stones to find her husband upon learning that Jamie had survived the war. That time, Claire was already pregnant.

Spoilers for season 3 suggest that Jamie and Claire will reunite at a print shop in Scotland, sometime in 1966.

Meanwhile, "Outlander" season 3 was recently nominated for Most Binge-worthy Award at the Critics' Choice Awards. After learning about the nomination, the two lead stars of the series, Sam Heughen and Catriona Balfe, congratulated each other via tweets. Sam tweeted to send a glass, a bottle even, to his co-star Catriona, saying that she deserves to be nominated.

In a recent interview, the two "Outlander" stars revealed how much they had fun during the awards night. Fans know the two actors for exchanging funny tweets on Twitter.

"Outlander" season 3 is set to return sometime in April 2017 on Starz.
