'Outlander' Season 2 Spoilers: Ron Moore Talks Cast Costumes in New Episodes
Ron Moore, the executive producer of Outlander states that the costumes for the second season of the show will bring a change.
According to Moore, season two of Outlander features costumes with brighter colors and fabrics as the show will move from being set in Scotland to France.
The producers seem to be attempting to snag an Emmy award for the new costume design.
After revealing the costumes to fans of the show last Friday at The Groove shopping center in Los Angeles, Moore discussed them with Zap2it.
Some of the costumes unveiled included Claire's wedding dress, Jamie's kilt and Jack Randall's British uniform.
The costumes will be on display until May 31st, according to the official The Grovela website.
The costumes were designed by Moore's wife, Terry Dresbach, who is a fan of the books by Diana Gabaldon, on which the television series is based.
Moore compared the new costume design to those in the first season of the show, which he described as "more neutral and earth tones," where as those in the next season will be "more colorful" and "fashion forward."
There will also be a lot of "bling," says Moore, a hallmark of Paris which was the fashion leader at the time in which the series is set.
The sets for the show will even contain a lot of gold. The new season will take viewers on a journey to the court of King Louis XV, and the French aristocracy.
The events which set the character on the road to France will be seen the season one's finale which will air on May 31st.
