With its penultimate episode airing this week, there is no doubt that "Outlander" season 2 is already dropping its curtains soon. Titled "The Hail Mary," the 12^th episode of the series will follow Jamie and Claire as they talk about Black Jack and see the return of Colum McKenzie and Mary Hawkins from season 1.

In the upcoming episode, Jamie and Claire will revisit their promise to discard Black Jack when the time comes. It can be remembered that in the earlier episodes of season 2 shot in Paris, France, Claire asked Jamie to promise her that he will not dispose of Black Jack Randall. She also asked him to wait for one year before he executes his plan. However, it seems that Jamie will have to break this vow in the upcoming episode, as spoilers suggest that Jamie will go into the woods to fight Black Jack.

Episode 12 will also see the return of Jamie's uncle, Colum, who will appear at the Jacobite headquarters and will ask a special favor from Claire. Some reports say that Claire will encounter Mary and Alex Randall in Inverness.

There are speculations that Uncle Colum is back to back up Jamie's troops. Moreover, the reappearance of Mary Hawkins in town with Alex Randall suggests that the romance between the two might be rekindled. In the series, Alex was last seen in Paris when Claire told him that he was incapable of making Mary Hawkins happy because of his illness. 

"Outlander" season 2, episode 12 airs on June 25 on Starz.
