The Oscars will be shown on televisions this Sunday and yet, viewers could not keep their assumptions for themselves. The predictions kept flowing and it might be very popular on the news that fans want Leonardo DiCaprio to finally get the best actor title.

It has been reported earlier that DiCaprio got the highest anticipation for bagging the trophy. According to FiveThirtyEight, the unanimous decision was given to the "Revenant" protagonist.

Notably, their predictions as based on the previous data gathered from the apparent Director's Guild and Golden Globes' calculation. Apart from DiCaprio as the best actor, they also have other guesses for different categories.

"Room" actress Brie Larson might be given the Best Actress trophy for her performance in the movie. Meanwhile, "The Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence is a runner up as well.

More than DiCaprio's stunning acting skills, "The Revenant" could win the Best Picture awards. "Mad Max: Fury Road" or "Spotlight" follows the list of the possible winners.

Moreover, the best director award has been fought between "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "The Revenant" directors George Miller and Alejandro G. Iñárritu, respectively.

Apart from the predictions, the Oscars became the center of negative attention after its  #OscarsSoWhite controversy, as Fortune noted. But they claimed that Chris Rock might address the issue. Fans will have to wait for the Oscars awards night to be out on ABC this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST before concluding anything.
