A four-minute sneak peek into the opening of "Orphan Black" season 4 hints at some significant events that viewers of the series should expect in the premiere episode.

The video clip is both dark and morose, with its first two minutes centering on M.K. running frightfully in a forest while wearing a sheep mask. In the video, M.K. comes across two men who are apparently up to no good, so she runs away.

According to BBC America, M.K.'s character will play a big role in the upcoming season as she knows a lot more about their origin than the other clones in the series. The unknowns regarding her character are set to be answered in season 4.

The sneak peek also reveals that M.K. knows Beth, and that both of them have been working hard towards achieving something.

While the first half of the video centers on M.K., the second half focuses on the life of Beth. The video shows a flashback scene wherein M.K. gives Beth a ring in the middle of the night to tell her that she has found something that's of great importance to them. Events in the upcoming season will give viewers a glimpse of such secrets and all other things that has contributed to Beth's contemplation of a suicide.

Most of season 4 will explore the origins of the clones and will pose major questions about their future.

According to BBC, season 4 will pick up two months after Sarah went to Iceland. "Orphan Black" season 4 will debut on April 14, 10:00 P.M. on BBC.
