'Orphan Black' Season 3 Spoilers, Rumors: 2 Sets of Clones for Upcoming Premiere
With a little more than a month left before its premiere, "Orphan Black" is looking to shake things up with the third season of the Canadian science fiction television series.
Season 2 ended with a bang as the sisters (Sarah, Alison, Cosima and Helena) from Project Leda, all played by Tatiana Maslany were reunited once more. However, it was later revealed that another set of male clones from Project Castor are going to tear them a part once more.
One of the clones, all played by Ari Millen told one of Maslany's characters to "count her sisters" in a promo released on March 2. The show's co-creator Graeme Manson told viewers that the Project Castor boys (Mark, Rudy, Seth and Miller) grew up together and are completely different from the girls of Project Leda. However, the boys are the ones to watch out for.
In Season 2 Mark married Gracie (Zoé de Grand'Maison) and will not likely see them in Season 3.
People caught up with Manson to talk about the third season. "One of the main themes of the year is, 'Are we stronger together? 'We've pushed them to that point in the first episode. Crisis abounds in the premiere, and that question is definitely at the fore."
He adds, "Those questions of 'How far will you go to protect the ones you love?' are big questions for us this season."
The show has gained a small following over the past two seasons, some even stating that the show is definitely worth more than viewers are willing to say. According to Screen Rant, the show has never crossed a million viewers an episode in its lifetime.
"Orphan Black" will premiere April 18 at 9 pm ET on BBC America.
