'Orphan Black' Season 3 News: Clone Club Members Looking Forward to Big Series Return
Fans are beside themselves with anticipation over the upcoming season of Orphan Black. The BBC America show has frenzied fans calling themselves the Clone Club.
A new trailer has been released to keep fans excited about the upcoming season. With the next season several months away still, the release of all these trailers and teasers have reignited the show's fan base and create more questions than answers.
Helena's story is where the trailer began. She is in custody, and her sister clones are ready and primed to get her back.
As the sisters are gearing up the action goes back to Helena, who knows that she is different and that she is a killer.
She tells her captors that she is not their killer. "I am not your weapon," she tells them covered in blood and bruises. She seems more determined than ever to eliminate her captors and be reunited with the other sister clones.
The final preview released had Sarah making the same adamant claims as Helena about not being the property of others. We don't know if she is speaking to Dyad or another unknown person.
Another released teaser featured the seeming perfect Alison Hendrix in her natural habitat. Alison at the end of the teaser wants Dyad to know that she's not their toy. We still aren't sure if she or Felix will return to the show next season.
Apparently the theme of the upcoming season is the right to the clones and if they enjoy their personhood. The show continues to engage tough questions, and the issues prevail this upcoming season.
The upcoming season will have many threats to the sisters and their freedom and existence; the previews also suggest that maybe something more insidious is lurking in the shadows waiting to make an appearance.
Orphan Black will return to BBC America on April 18th.
