Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets Preview, Live Stream Link: How to Watch NBA Game Online
Less than two weeks ago, the Brooklyn Nets had just won six straight games and stood at seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a 1 ½ game lead. But after losing four of its last six games, they've fallen into ninth place trailing the Indiana Pacers by one game for the final playoff spot.
They're going to have one last shot for their third straight trip to the postseason, although it won't entirely be in their hands. The Nets must win their final game at home against the Orlando Magic, but they will also need the Pacers to lose their game in Memphis against the Grizzlies.
"The way I look at it is that we have one more game left. We have to win it. We'll be here on Wednesday and try to close out the season with a victory and see what happens," Nets coach Lionel Hollins said, ironically needing help from his former team to advance.
Apart from needing the Grizzlies to win, he'll also need his key players to round back to form. As pointed out by an Associated Press report, Thaddeus Young has had a combined 17 points in the last two games while shooting 7-25 from the field. Deron Williams totaled 22 in his last three games, shooting even worse at 7-35. And Brook Lopez, who had a brilliant 13-game stretch wherein he averaged 26.2 points 26.2 points on 59.2 percent FG%, has mustered just 25 points on 42.1 percent in his last two.
One thing going for them is that they face a 25-56 Magic team who they have beaten in their two regular season meetings. Orlando has also dropped its third straight game Monday against the Miami Heat.
The Nets host the Magic on Wednesday with the tip-off scheduled at 8:00 pm ET, check out the live stream link here.
