It would seem like actor Orlando Bloom will always have a tight knit bond with the Kerr family, even post breakup.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor has been reportedly ended the relationship with Australian model Miranda Kerr over 15 months ago, but has been linked to her family through an Instagram picture Miranda's mother Therese posted.

The post read, "I adore his smile, I cherish his hugs, I admire his heart, but most of all... I love that he is my son"

The quote was mainly directed at her immediate son in the family, Matthew, but she tagged in her "son-in-laws" including Orlando.

It would seem despite Kerr and Bloom breaking off their relationship, Therese still considers him very much family.

Aside from being close with the family, Bloom shares a child with Kerr, a four-year-old son. The two celebrity icons do their best in keeping their relationship amicable for his sake.

In an interview with Elle Australia, Kerr stated, "We're very good friends and this bonding is the most important thing, otherwise Flynn would feel it."

"We do everything to make sure our relationship is harmonious. We both love and care about each other and genuinely want each other to be happy."

Kerr has seemed to be moving on from the breakup rather well as she has been frequently spotted in the company of some high profile men.

"The famous Australian beauty has been linked to a string of high profile men since they split, including billionaire media mogul James Packer, pop star Justin Bieber and most recently, millionaire playboy, Steve Bing.
