This time around, The Originals season 3 is not just all about the Mikaelson family, but also about some important characters in the show such as Vincent Griffith - a powerful witch.

The actor Yusuf Gatewood also shares a bit of information about his character in the new season for the CW series.

Gatewood said at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con that he will be having a mentor-like character to Davina Claire, the new Regent in the series.

However, he said that there will be surprises to arrive for Davina in the new season.

In the last season, Vincent Griffith backed out from being a leader of his witch community. This also made him convince Davina, a former witch for the Harvest and former member of the French Quarter coven, to become the new Regent of the community in New Orleans.

This made Davina think about a lot of things once again.

Vincent also told that he will never use magic anymore, but the actor said in the Comic-Con that there will be lots of witch-related info coming from Vincent once he mentors Davina once again in the upcoming season.

There will be a lot of challenges to him in this season as well. This means that he might use magic even if he vowed not to anymore and for good.

What made this more interesting is that Gatewood was also the one who portrayed Finn in the previous season as Finn possessed Vincent's body during that time in order to reunite with his Mikaelson family.

It will surely be an interesting sight if Finn sees this body, with Vincent actually using it once again.

Aside from him, you will also see the main characters in the next season, and so as Rebekah and Kol in a certain flashback of the new season's scenes.

This is a good indication that a lot really want them to come back to the series.

Now, we're all just hoping that the Mikaelson siblings will be reunited once again, even though there will be fights brewing between them once again.
