If latest reports are to be believed, fans of 'Orange Is The New Black' will see the dynamics between two characters of the show will possibly change when the prison comedy-drama television series returns for Season 4 next year.

According to Christian Today, during a recent interview with Speakeasy, actress Laura Prepon, who portrays Alex Vouse in the show, talked about the manner in which her character will handle her relationship with Piper Chapman, portrayed by Taylor Schilling.

Towards the end of 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3, viewers saw Piper gradually turning into a villain in the series. In fact, Piper was not even afraid to employ any scheme to prove to everyone in the Litchfield Penitentiary that she is not the right person to mess with. Prepon said that Alex knows how she should remind Piper that the latter is actually not an unfeeling person.

Talking to the media outlet, Prepon said, "She [Alex] sees through Piper's entire BS." The actress added, "And that's why they're such a cool relationship. And I think that Alex knows that she's putting it on - it's not really her ... It's one of the reasons why Alex dumped [Piper] in Season 3. She's just like, 'Listen, this is kind of gross, and where's the real Piper?'"

In the meantime, it is expected that Piper's new dark, perverse character may not last long. Recently, Schilling said that eventually Piper will return to her old self owing to the sudden rise in the number of new female inmates in the upcoming season. In fact, such sudden surge of female inmates will make it difficult for her to keep her control inside the prison cells.

This has led fans to wonder if Alex and Piper to get back together in 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4.

Meanwhile, 'Benched' actress Jolene Purdy may probably join the cast in 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4 as a new inmate. However, Netflix is yet to reveal if Purdy is actually a new inmate, a new prison guard who will be replacing the currently missing John Bennett (Matt McGorry), or portray a different character.

'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4 is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2016.
