Netflix's original series, Orange is the New Black, created by Jenji Kohan, the creator of Weeds, has been a critical and pop cultural success since its first season debuted in 2013. Fans will be excited to learn that the new season, Season 3, of the hit Netflix show will premiere on the streaming network in June 2015.

The show was able to survive the break between seasons, which was about a year long, and it has also been able to increase its fan following since the debut of season two.

The third season is on its way, this June and there will be some new characters as well as cast changes this season, making it possibly the most unique season so far. The first trailer for the third season of Orange is the New Black teased the return of Alex, played by Laura Prepon.

There also is a peek at the tension between her and Piper, portrayed by Taylor Schilling, with a look at some of the conflict between the other characters.

There is not much information about the season, however, outside of what has been shown in the clips, and no word on what else to expect from Jenji Kohan and the show's creative team.

Netflix revealed a poster for the third season online, and there is a hint of the continued religious satire on the show. The poster, while funny, says a lot about what some of the characters are going to be dealing with this season.

Kohan revealed some hints about one of the new cast members for this season in a recent interview with TIME magazine. She did not say much about the plot lines of the returning cast members, but did say that there would be a new character put in the mix that is based on Martha Stewart.
