Recently, online streaming giant Netflix released 'Orange is the New Black' Season 3 for binge watching by fans. In fact, for the most part, Season 3 remained light-weight in terms of drama till the finale's abrupt twist. Fans have seen Alex (Laura Prepon) to always be suspicious that her boss planned to kill her and in the finale, her former colleague, who is also an assassin, actually assaulted her.

'Orange is the New Black' is known for killing off its characters randomly, but iDigital Times reports that Alex may possibly be alive and for most part of the Season 4 she will be seen trying to escape from those trying to kill her.

The report further states that 'Orange is the New Black' Season 4 may possibly show Alex escaping just in time. Since she is now aware that someone really is trying to kill her, she may be spending the remaining season trying to hide or even get the man sacked from his job as a prison security guard.

At the same time, Digitial Times reports that Alex Vause, the real-life inspiration for the character, is still alive and well and, hence, it is very likely that the fictional version will also see the light of day. Nevertheless, 'Orange is the New Black' is known to divert from the real events to make the show more exciting for fans and, therefore, anything can still happen.

According to Christian Today, this new variety of tension may possibly provide the jolt that the series needs to remain relevant on television. Even Season 3 began somewhat weak, but found its pace before its finale.

In the third season it was clear that 'Orange is the New Black' is not only about inmates fighting each other, but about the prison system in the country and the manner in which it negatively affects the inmates to such an extent where their only possibility of survival is to fight against others.

'Orange is the New Black' Season 4 is expected to premiere in June 2016, around the same time when previous seasons of the comedy-drama television series were released each year.
