While several months remain before 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3 premieres on Netflix, a lot has been written and speculated about the upcoming season of this comedy-drama series. According to the most recent spoilers on the Internet, the show creators may lighten up on some of the darkness fans saw in Season 2.

According to IB Times, in a recent interview with the Pittsburgh City Paper, series writer Lauren Morelli has revealed that 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3 will be rather different than the previous season.

Pittsburgh City Paper quotes Laurn as saying, "Season two was really dark and I think we really were excited about playing with this antagonist of Vee and seeing what that force would do to the characters we started to love over a season. I think season three is sort of a natural rebound from that darkness. Some of the joy comes back to Litchfield that was lost."

In addition to the regular characters returning 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3, fans will also see many new faces like Ruby Rose, Mike Birbiglia, Mary Steenburgen, Blair Brown, and Marsha Stephanie Blake in the upcoming season. While Ruby Rose will portray the character of Stella Carlin, the love interest of the main characters, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), Steenburgen will portray Pornstache's mother. In addition, Blake will be seen as an officer at the Litchfield prison.

According Jenji Kohan, the creator of 'Orange is the New Black,' "faith" will be the main theme of Season 3. At the same time, the storyline will put more focus on the relationship of Piper and Alex (Laura Prepon), who is likely to be one of the lead actors in the 13-episode 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3.

'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3 is slated for June 12 premiere on Netflix. The premiere episode is titled 'It's the Great Blumpkin, Charlie Brown,' while some other episodes of the new season will be titled 'The Great Hate F**k,' 'Gay Feet,' and 'I'm a B***h Because I'm Sad.'
