'Orange is The New Black' Season 3 Release Date: Vee Alive and Set to Appear in 2015?
Fans of 'Orange is the New Black' are looking to find out some of the details for the upcoming Season 3 of the comedy-drama series on Netflix.
While some spoilers for OITNB Season 3 have emerged online, some rumors, that have not been confirmed, have appeared as well.
Stepping into some spoilers, in the Season 2 finale, viewers saw the main antagonist of the show Vee, portrayed by Lorraine Toussaint, left for dead.
However, while many of the show's characters thought she would not make it, she is very likely to feature in Season 3.
If that's the case then it would make sense that the actress would be scheduled to film for 'Orange is the New Black' Season 3.
In a recent interview, Toussaint said, "I believe she's dead. She's dead... I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't dead because I don't have much control over her... she's pretty dead...but it is Vee."
Many fans are of the view that Toussaint was possibly suggesting that Vee will continue to appear in Season 3.
On the other hand, though Netflix has neither confirmed nor denied the news, there are rumors that Jason Biggs (Larry) will not be a regular cast of the series any longer. Some rumors also say that Diane Guerrero's (Maritza) has left the show, but Netflix has yet to confirm this.
However, it is now more or less confirmed that Pablo Schreiber (Pornstache) will not feature in the forthcoming season of 'Orange is the New Black'.
On the other hand, fans will see Pablo's mother played by Mary Steengurgen in the new season. In addition, Mike Birbiglia and Marsha Stephanie Blake will be introduced in the new installment as well.
As far as the plot of the 'Orange is the New Black' is concerned, a report by Entertainment Wise says that the storyline of the new season will emphasize Daya Diaz's baby.
Matt McGorry, who portrays the baby's father John Bennett, told TV Guide that 'Orange is the New Black' will throw light on motherhood in prison and what inmate mothers are like.
McGorry told the website, "They have different ideas about what should happen, as we've seen before, and that continues to come to a head as we get closer and closer to Month Nine. Hormones rage and, in our case, it's even more complicated."
While the official release date for 'Orange is the New Black' Season 3 has not been announced, fans can expect it to launch in 2015.
