Orange Is The New Black Season 3 Release Date, Plot Rumors: Netflix Announces New Season June 2015 Air Date

Netflix has confirmed that the comedy drama series "Orange is The New Black" will return for a third season in June 2015. Both Seasons 1 and 2 of "Orange is The New Black," released in 2013 and this summer respectively, have been huge hits, prompting the network to extend the series for another season.

In Orange is The New Black Season 2 viewers saw many open-ended stories and one major plot in the upcoming season is Daya's motherhood. Spoilers for the upcoming season of "Orange is The New Black" claim that Daya will be giving birth to her and C.O. John Bennett's baby. It is touted that the baby will take Daya and John's relationship to the next level, but how they will cope remains to be seen.

In a recent interview with TV Guide, Matt McGorry who portrays the character of C.O. John Bennett, said that Daya and Bennet will be having "different ideas about what should happen, as we've seen before, and that continues to come to a head as we get closer and closer to Month Nine."

"Hormones rage and... in our case, it's even more complicated," McCorry added.

The baby issue aside, "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 will introduce George "Pornstache" Mendez's mother. Earlier, viewers saw that Daya, John, Aleida, and Gloria conspired to put the blame of Daya's pregnancy on Pornstache and, thus, Pornstache was arrested, thrown out of the penitentiary, and sent to prison.

It has been announced that award-winning actress Mary Steenburgen will appear as Pornstache's mother in the upcoming season. However, the show creators are yet to confirm her role in the series - whether she will be seen as an officier or an inmate.

In addition, viewers will also see the main villain in "Orange is The New Black" Season 2, Vee, returning in the third season. He will possibly be seen in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, filming of the "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 has started. The Netflix hit series has garnered 12 Emmy nominations.
