'Orange Is The New Black' Cast News: Jason Biggs Explains Why He Won't Be in Season 3

Many fans are going to be disappointed with the return of Netflix's original series, 'Orange Is The New Black,' without the casting of actor Jason Biggs.

It's been previously confirmed that the actor wouldn't return to reprise his character Larry in the series and in an interview with Huffington Post he gives an explanation as to why.

"It's not a Larry season," he comments, "They have a lot of characters to service on that show and, at the end of the day, it's a women's prison show. Larry is not a woman or in prison. But the good news is with a show like that, there's always the possibility that he could come back. And I would go back in a heartbeat."

Biggs played the fiance to Piper Chapman, the lead in the series. Fans are still confused on how the expect to keep up the show's continuity without such a centerpiece character.

He at least gives fans hope for his return in future seasons. Biggs himself expresses his excitement for watching the series when it returns in June.

"I'm actually really excited to see Season 3, and talking to a bunch of people over there, I think it's going to be pretty awesome," he states.

'OITNB' comes back for it's third season on June 12th.
