OnePlus Two Release Date News, Rumors: Device to Launch June 2015 in Limited Supply?

The Chinese upstart, OnePlus which took the smart phone market by surprise with its OnePlus One smartphone, is all set to launch its next big hit, OnePlus Two in June, 2015, according to PC Advisor.

OnePlus One was designed to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy, HTC One M8, and Google Nexus 5 while providing high end specs and an easy user experience at an affordable price. They succeeded in doing so but failed at providing enough of the product once the demand had risen. As reported by a leak in the organization, "Officially, things are said to be getting better from here on out but we're still receiving emails from disgruntled consumers that cannot get hold of one".

Although, not much is being revealed about the new model to be introduced in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2015, it is rumored to come with a new spec of display, hardware and camera. "The latest OnePlus smart phone will come with a much faster 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 810 chipset that clocks a speed of 2.9 GHz," Ordoh wrote in its publication, "The OnePlus handset will support a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and it will be slimmer and lighter that the OnePlus One".

Furthermore, Carl Pei disclosed in his report of Know Your Mobile, "only a limited number of OnePlus Two will be sold in the market. The firm will create a separate model for North America, Asia and European for a wide range of model date network bands."

This seems to be a strategic move to overcome the criticism received by OnePlus One that it supported only one band in the UK. Carl Pei also confirmed, "OnePlus has apparently settled on a launch date in 2015's third quarter."

Unfortunately, OnePlus also said that it will probably use the invite system for its next smart phone too before moving to limited pre-orders again.
