Details on the OnePlus 3 release date and specifications have surfaced. Rumors say that the device is set to come out this month.

As per Pocket Lint, OnePlus is set to launch its flagship device, the OnePlus 3, at a VR event on June 14 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time and the phone is set to hit the market from 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

According to a OnePlus employee, as cited by Tech Advisor, the OnePlus 3 is going to be sold at 1,999 Yuan (about 210.68 GBP) for the 32GB with 4GB of RAM variant while the 64GB with 6GB of RAM might see a higher price.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 3 is set to have the dimensions of 152.6 by 74.6 by 7.3 mm, which are equivalent to 6.01 by 2.94 by 0.29 inches, as per GSM Arena. It weights 160 grams (5.64 ounces) and has dual SIM slot. Its 5.5-inch screen has AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection.

With regard the platform, the OnePlus 3 is set to run Android OS v6.0.1 (Marshmallow), Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo and dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo, and Adreno 530. About the memory, the phone has three variants - the 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM, the 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM, and the 64GB variant with 6GB of RAM.

Also, the OnePlus 3 is set to have a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3650 mAh battery, which keeps it powered for several hours. The device comes in gray, gold, and black.

The OnePlus 3 follows the OnePlus 2, which was announced on July 28, 2015 and the OnePlus X, which was announced on Oct. 29, 2015.
