One Direction band member Zayn Malik is reportedly taking a break from the band's On the Road Again tour due to a couple of personal issues.

The band's publicist, Simon Jones, said in a statement, "Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate."

Also with the stress, fans speculate that the singer is going on hiatus in response to rumors about him cheating on his fiancée, Perrie Edwards. On Instagram, pictures of Zayn and mysterious blonde woman in Thailand surfaced, and it looked like the two were more than just friends.

Zayn told his Twitter followers in a post that he would never cheat on Edwards. "I'm 22 years old...I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f---s in this world. I'm sorry for what it looks like x." Edwards seems to believe him as she reposted her fiancé's tweet later than same day.

Band members Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson expressed their concern for their friend and fellow band mate. "The members are worried about him and his future with the group," a source told US Weekly. "We've been close to this moment a few times but when people started coming for his relationship with Perrie it really spooked him."

Zayn will return to the tour on March 28, when the band is expected to arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa. According to E! Online, this isn't the first time he's skipped out on a performance. The band member was absent when the band performed songs from their fourth album, Four, on the USA Today Show.

On the Road Again is One Direction's fourth tour.
