One Direction New 'Four' Album 2014 Debuts at Number 1, Makes Boy Band History

Some believe that One Direction is one of the world's greatest boy bands. It's no surprise that women and young girls all over the world obsess over those accents and those tattoos.

On that note, 1D has officially made history in the United States for being one of the first boy bands to have all of their albums debut at number one.

The fourth album called Four, debuted in the United States selling 387,000 copies the first week that it was on the charts.

The boys launched the album at Universal Studios in Florida and of course, the girls went crazy! The boys were expecting there to be around 200 people in the crowd and there ended up being about 10,000 screaming fans.

One Direction is used to all of the screaming fans though. Almost all of their concerts are sold out and they are constantly being followed by the paparazzi and fans all over the world. The boys in the band have said that this will not be their last album and that they will continue to make music as long as they can.

At the American Music Awards, they were named Artists of the year and Four was named album of the year.

They also received the best international band award from the Aria Awards in Australia. Things are looking very good for the boys in One Direction and it seems that they will continue to make history all over the world and on the charts.
