Everybody was shocked when One Direction band member Zayn Malik went on an indefinite break from the boy band especially during their 'On The Road' tour. Malik was recently absent at the band's Manila concert, and of course, a lot of opinions came out, including the outspoken Wendy Williams who suggested that Malik should be kicked out of the band.

Although it sounds bad for One Direction fans, the host of the Wendy Williams' Show explained her opinion giving the young Malik an opportunity to take a rest from the spotlight that he is reportedly getting stressed from.

"He's done it before. This is not his first time," Williams explained on Monday's Wendy Williams Show. "Here's what I think, One Direction, One Direction fans and anyone else who cares," she started her talk on the matter during the segment 'Hot Topics'.

"I feel as though if you can do five-part harmony, it's just as easy to do four-part harmony," Williams explained adding, "I say kick this guy out of the group because now, that's more money for the rest of us. We don't have to split our money five ways."

William's suggestion shocked many One Direction fans as it is of course ideal for them to remain together indefinitely. But of course, sometimes, one person needs to take a break from all the very hectic demands of celebrity life.

"I admire him for standing in his own truth, which is that being a celebrity-particularly as a young person-it's a lot and all he wants to do is go back and live a normal life," Williams explained, "I appreciate people who stand in their own truths so if this is what this guy wants, kick him out of the band," she added.

A rep from the band recently announced the support they have for Malik. "The band wish him well and will continue with their performances," the rep said.
