'Once Upon A Time' Season 6 Spoilers: ‘iZombie's’ Star Rose McIver Plays As ‘Peter Pan’-Character?

Viewers are set to see "iZombie" star Rose McIver play the role of a "Peter Pan" character in "Once Upon a Time" season 6. It has also been revealed that the series is set to return its original format.

In an interview with Couture Caddy at the Oz Comic-Con, it was confirmed that "iZombie" actress McIver is set to play Tinker Bell in "Once Upon a Time" season 6. Fans last saw the character in the third season of the series and she was only mentioned by the other characters after.

McIver herself revealed that the reason that keeps her from returning to the series is the conflicting schedules for filming. In her interview with Caddy, the "iZombie"-star said that they had tried a few times to bring the character back, but the scheduling was quite hard as they shoot at the same time as "iZombie."

Despite of schedule conflict, McIver affirmed the possibility of seeing Tinker Bell again in the series' upcoming sixth season. She said that they were all in Vancouver and their showrunner was a good friend of the "Once Upon a Time" showrunners. The actress said that she was very hopeful that it would happen at some point.

When asked about her favorite couple, McIver mentioned that it would have to be Emma and Hook. The actress explained that she selfishly like the duo as people and she knew that they were getting along great.

In other news, "Once Upon a Time" is set to return to its original format, which is a 22-episode story.

In their interview with Entertainment Weekly, series showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz said that they were planning a 22-episode story as opposed to breaking it up into two halves this year. Horowitz teased that their storytelling is set to be exciting and fun.

At a recent panel, Kitsis also said that they were changing around what they were doing this year and they are set to go back to the season 1 thinking of small town stories and smaller arcs.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is set to air in the fall on ABC.
