"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is set to feature a clash between Evil Queen and Hero Regina, in addition to the inclusion of characters like Maleficent, Lily, Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde.

Lana Parilla, who plays Regina in "Once Upon a Time," revealed that her character is set to become two different individuals. In her interview with Entertainment Weekly, Parilla teased that it was not split personality but it was two separate Reginas - the Evil Queen and the Hero Regina.

As per Parilla, she found both sides to be really fun to play. She sad that she had always played two sides and she had always been both; however, she was never been split.

Along with Regina's separate characters, series co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis revealed their plans on Maleficent and her daughter Lily. In their interview with Entertainment Weekly, Horowitz said that they would have plans for the characters next season and they were hoping that they would be great.

In the same interview, Kitsis said that they heard the fans and they knew what stories fans felt like they had dropped. Horowitz added that their plans were set to address many of those things in "Once Upon a Time" season 6.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is also set to introduce characters outside the Disney realm. According to Christian Today, the series is set to include literary icons like and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, fictional characters from Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novel entitled "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." Their impact on Regina and the other characters are yet to be revealed.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is assumed to hit televisions in September on ABC.
