Regina will continue to deal with the loss of Robin Hood and more in "Once Upon A Time" season 6.

In the finale of season 5, Regina got her dark side out and paved the way for the reemergence of the old villain, The Evil Queen. As the series returns this year for another reason, her character will deal with the evil side of her psyche as her mourning period over the death of Robin Hood continues.

According to actress Lana Parilla who plays Regina, moving on from the tragedy that led to the death of Robin Hood will not be easy for her character.

"Regina is a very private person, she doesn't really share a lot of what's going on inside. Internally, she's conflicted by so many things that she doesn't even talk about," she said.

Parilla said she does not know how her character will take the loss now that Regina has undergone changes and has already separated herself from her dark side.

"There's been so much evolution, she's come so far, she's been in the shoes of the hero for the last couple of years, so I'm curious to see how she's going to handle this big loss," she added.

In spite of everything, one thing's for sure. Regina's love for Robin will never end even after his death.

"I feel like their love transcends death; I don't think that that love is ever going to die," said Parilla.

"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will revolve around the Storybrooke and the lead characters, as well as offer flashbacks to the other realms. It is expected to premiere on ABC later this year.
